Travel Journal
October 19, 2007 to November 3, 2007
A week before we leave for our two weeks vacation, we were starting packing our suitcases and made a list of all the stuff that we need to bring. Brian and I were talking of all the kids clothes that we are going to bring. Betty was looking with her formal dresses and it did not fit on her anymore and we went shopping at Macy's. She bought a beautiful dresses that she liked. She really gained weight while she was still nursing Mary. Brian bought also few stuff for his formal suit, a vest, new set of jewelry and a white shirt. We picked also a pair of tux for Benjamin. Mary had her clothes before she was born which Betty's sister sent it from the Philippines.
We made all of our reservation ahead of time from booking the cruise I guess that was 10 months ahead, the resorts stay at Vero Beach and Disneyworld and our rental cars and air fare. Brian planned it so well even for the places or restaurants we eat and how much we are going to spend. In every details of our vacation Brian is the author.
Day 1 - October 19, 2007
Brian's friend Curt Cady took us to the airport. He picked us up at around 9am in the house. He is a good friend of Brian and he was taking off leave that day, Friday. We got there at the airport at around 10:20AM. We bid goodbye to him and thank him for being so kind of giving us a lift.
Brian used the skycap service, we checked at curb and it was easier for us for traveling two little children. We did not in lined to the check in line. We could not checked in online due to have infant in Betty's lap. But we were pretty much early because it saved us a lots of time in checking in at the curb.
We head to the gate and passed the security with no problems. We ate at Maki Japan Oriental Eatery and then after that we headed to gate C-21. We were taking our time so easy but travelling with the kids was a bit harder. Believe me!
The plane started to board at around 1:10 PM, we were late a bit but it is okay. I am thinking that we will have a little time on our next leg of our flight. Well, Brian and I were always trying to entertain our kids. Benjamin had fun watching the movies and Mary was quiet a bit fussy. She was keeping me draining out of liquid. We arrive at Nashville, TN at around 7:20 PM. The plane again is delayed and we are so thankful with that. We were the last person who entered the plane. Since the kids were a bit fussy. We were still doing the stuff that kept them entertain. Finally we arrive at Orlando around 11:20 PM EST. We get off and then head to the claim baggage. We used a skycap services where they were helping travelers for their luggages. We got all the luggages and then head to Budget Rental Car. Brian was so thankful that the car is at the parking garage which is a walking distance from the airport. We left at the airport around 12:30AM and head to Port Canaveral. Benjamin and Mary were very tired and sleepy and we did not even had enough food to eat. Unfortunately, Brian went to the wrong turn and we ended up in a wrong road. Well, it was okay because we find a convenient store and bought some water and a little bit of food. Mary was really tired and she was screaming. I was nursing her to stop her screaming and she finally went to sleep. Benjamin was awake still but I kept telling him to sleep on our way to the hotel. We got there at Residence Inn at about 2:30AM. Brian checked in and I was waited at the car with the kids sleeping. Fortunately the guy at the front desk asked from his colleague to help us bringing our bags in our room. We have 5 suitcases... Lots! We refreshed ourselves and then went to bed with a big snooze....z z z z z z z z z

Carving the pumpkin
When we got home, Benjamin run inside the house quickly and grabbed the carving kit. I thought he did not know where I put it but I think he does. He has a high smell where I put the carving kit LOL. When I went inside, he stand at the door and asked me if I could start carving. I said to him that we need to eat dinner first but he could not wait.
He kept bugging his Dad that they are going to start carving. So then, Brian brought the pumpkin inside and clean it. While he was choosing design he gonna make it. He choose the flying bats, Benjamin is so funny. He was scared with bats. This kid has lots of imagination now. I took photos of the pumpkin...and oh we roasted the seeds. It came out really good.. yummy!

Pumpkin Patch
Benjamin was really tired and he was about to sleep in the car on our way to pumpkin patch. We tried to keep him awake. Mary was sleeping in the car as she does not have nap this morning. When we got there, Benjamin was so excited to get his own pumpkin. He saw lots of kids bringing their own pumpkin. Before I get off in the car, I put Mary's shoes on and while Brian and Benjamin went to their nursery. I was looking at the nursery if they have blueberry plant so I could plant it here in my yard. They don't have any.
Benjamin love to run around and was asking Brian to hold him. We finally boarded to the tractor lol.. we were sitting at the bail of hay..oh boy! my butt is painful...kind of hard eh. When we got there to the patch. Benjamin was running and wanted to find the best pumpkin that he can carve LOL. Brian was the one attending him because Mary wanted to walk at the muddy. Good thing not really bad muddy LOL. She loves to touch the pumpkin and I shoot few photos of them. Oh what a cute kids. Benjamin found his pumpkin and of course his Dad was carrying it. I just don't have an idea how much Brian pay for it. We end up of playing at the bail of hay, they formed it like a mazed and the kids have fun playing and climbing. They love those things.
Brian slide on the kids slide.. he wanted to LOL, he was tempted LOL... I was asking Brian if we could go home and Benjamin was still running and playing. I went ahead and I was changing Mary's diaper inside the car,she is so wet..Poor kiddie...

Family Day at PSNS-Bremerton
After we talk to Melissa and Mike, we head off to the family day at PSNS. They showed to the workers family where they work and what are they working for either by machines or labs. They have couple huge cranes, my Benjamin was enjoying it.
We were walking for about a mile to get to Brian's office but oh boy! they were asking if I am a citizen and I am not! I am not allowed to go inside to their office. they are protecting it. I don't know what they have there, it is just like a cubicles LOL..just office. Oh well, we head up to 6th floor and saw the submarine which was cut. Brian was working there for 5 weeks before and still they are not done with their work. We head off to the ship USS Stennis is at dry dock. It is really amazing, the big ship and was supported by blocks.. well it is a concrete blocks but it is really amzing that it did not fell down. I finally saw it and I am so happy..
We did not stay long because it is getting warmer while we are walking. We just stop by at the shop where Rick and Charlie works. Benjamin was enjoying playing the cranes and he ended up of having candies.. cool huh!

Found a perfect renter for our house
After church, we show Melissa and Mike our house because we are thinking that they are a nice renters. They are a family at church and their parents are our good friends. Sad to say we will be leaving them but it is an answered prayer for Melissa and Mike. Tthey are looking for a new place to stay. They saw our place, oh boy! we have tons of mess in the house but I know they ignored it but I got embarrass. I did not had an energy to clean yesterday because it was my first day of my period. I was emotional and irritable yesterday. Brian did not know that my period came LOL.
We talk about the things we wanted them to do in the house. First, they won't trash our house and I don't think they will. Barb and Tony will spank their butt LOL, they are their parents. Our yard is pretty messy, they agreed to mow the loan using our riding mower and Melissa loves roses and I am so happy with it because I am not gonna be sad leaving my roses to them. We talk a lot and it ended up the short walk through to the house became 30 minutes I guess. Second, if we have projects that we wanted them to do. They are willing to do, I am glad. The first thing is our patio, needs to replace it. I can see in their faces how happy they are looking with our house and I can trust them

Happy Soul
Today we went to church and we are enjoying teaching with the kids. We combined the little ones and kindergarten class because it is easier for us to do. Jessica and I were the leaders/teachers of the class and Brian and Mike was helping us. Jessica lead the songs and the kids have a wonderful experience today. They are responsive and my Benjamin I can feel that it seemed he was left out. I was trying that he is going to participate with the activity. He loves craft and motivation is what he needs. Brian was reading the stories about Noah... and we made a paper boat that represents Noah's ark. It is really cool. The children loves it even it is so hard for them to make. After the class, we head to the big people service and the children were behaving. They were enjoying with the stuff they do even the big people were doing the testimony service. It was Pastor appreciation day! We received greetings - Today is our wedding anniversary.

Oppps I need to go get some milk for Ben.. he was asking me earlier while I was typing my last opps.

Sorting clothes
I was really busy sorting Mary and Ben's clothes, I need to get rid off those clothes that they outgrown and they don't need that to stay on their closet. It is getting crowded. They received few stuff for winter clothes and need to hang it there. I did not get rid off their summer clothes yet because we will be going to Bahamas 16 days from now. I know my kids will wear those because that is warm places.
I was looking into putting their clothes at the consignment store and leave it there for a month and see if I have a little money back or else I will sell it online. I need to make website for selling online. This is a great idea for making money for stay home mothers. I just don't wanna work out and let the kids stay at the daycare. I wanna see them 24 hours a day. That is my job as a mom but I am not condemning to those mothers who are working because they have reason why they work and earned money. I am so thankful with my hubby that it is ok with him that I stay at home and he did not urge to get a job.

We have sunshine today
I just imagine myself of longing to have sunshine shining in my face. When we were in VA, the sun is just too bright and shiny..oh boy! very hot. It seemed the sun bite my skin.
Since we got home from VA, I was really happy that it was not hot in the outside but then, it is starting to get cold. We are 60's during the day. Good weather but it is a little bit shock in our body. We catch colds again, Mary and Ben still have right now. Mary is starting to get better but Benjamin still congested. Oh boy! this may not help.
I was talking to my hubby when he got home from work this late afternoon that we are going to get a flu shot. He was reluctant to do it because in his opinion he kept getting colds if he got a shot. Oh boy! my pedia doctor will tell me this time that we are going to get a flu shots LOL..to keep the baby away from sickness. I think this house gave us sickness LOL...
Got upset
Benjamin had pancake for his breakfast with choco milk. He was munching raisins and few snacks before lunch. When I was done cooking lunch, I asked him to sit down and eat lunch. He resisted to get a bite. I was a bit upset but I let him go and then do his thing...
During dinner time, he does not want to eat again. I did not give him anything aside a glass of milk and a juice. He refuse to eat dinner again. I was upset when we were at the table. I kept saying Benjamin is very picky. He said ewwwwwohhh.. I hate it when he said that.
