Friendship Rose
Just like a rose,
so precious and rare,
is the forever friendship
the two of us share.
Planted with kindness,
it's warmed by the sun
of caring and sharing,
laughter and fun.
It's grounded in trust
and nurtured by love,
with a sprinkling of grace
from God up above.
Tears of sadness and joy,
like dew, renew this friendship
I share with you.
And in the heart's garden,
we find the room to be ourselves,
to grow and bloom.
A blessing of beauty unsurpassed,
our friendship's a flower
that will always last.

World Airlines

This photo was taken when we were at the plane. We are starting our journey to Japan. This is a great tours for all of us. Bear on me I will post photos here.

Found a place to live

Brian and I were so busy looking with the perfect place to live for three years here in Japan. We were considering to get a typical Japanese house but then we could not afford the stairs climbing up and down. It is very steep and it is dangerous for Mary. I love the second house that we saw because there is 3 rooms that is tatami mats. It is really Japanese.

The place we found is the apartment complex which is Japanese WEstern style place. There is no stairs and no worries for Mary that she fell down. It is three bedroom and has a tatami room for entertaining and of course with the kitchen, dining and has extra living room where we could put our sofa. The tatami room is where we are going to entertain our guests and the extra room where we put our computers for Brian, Ben and Mine. We put a space also for Mary. We can see the water in one corner and I just love it.

This place they called them Nobi and it is 20 minutes away from Brian's work by train. We are planning to get a car as soon as we are settle down. We are near at the market, the train station I think it is about 5 minutes walk and the public bus. Mostly Japanese walk and ride in a train or a public bus. Their gas is very expensive compared to American price. We were advised to get a gas inside the base or else we are paying a lot.

There are a lot of things that I see when I observing how the Japanese people live. I am very curious to know. This is where we started our Japan tours. I will post photos here. Thanks for coming and read my blog.

Find a college scholarships at scholarships.com

I was really curious of going back to school because I wanna learn different courses and start it over again. I found this site scholarships.com and I am thinking to ask help from them. They are helping students since 1998 to get grants for their college scholarships and it is really nice to get free money. Going to college is pretty expensive and you are lucky if you're parents have college fund for you but what about there is none. This is really hard for students wants to pursue their degree. You better try to learn about Scholarships.com and they will help you finding a free money for college. They have lots of information on how to avail scholarship programs and go check them out. If you are curious just like me then try to visit their site.

House Hunting

Brian and I were started looking for different houses here in Japan last Thursday afternoon. We first went to the house which is the road is so narrow and it is scary to drive. Japan is a nice country, the people are nice too. Oh boy! the house that we first saw was really nice but the road is not ok with me to drive the car. It is very narrow and I don't like to walk in a very hilly road. That was our first choice with regards to the distance to the work of Brian but then I dislike the road. The agent was so nice but then she brought us this place which is scary road to drive lol. She brought us to the next one which is really Japanese style of home. I really like it but then our queen size bed does not fit to go upstairs. I just love that house but we are also considering the furnitures that we brought. We wished we did not bring our furniture. I just want to have a Japanese living room for entertainment our guest. I just love to have one. I know that Japanese people will appreciate my effort to make it. The tatami mats really impressed me how cool to have one in my own home in WA. The third house that we saw is nice, it was built 1987. It has a big kitchen but the hallway is so narrow and our sofas does not fit on it because it is kind of fat lol.. I just love the second house, it has 3 rooms that has tatami mats but I dislike the kitchen- it is on the old side. The sink is kind of dirty look and I am very particular with the kitchen look. There is another agent that brought us to their vacant apartments. I just like it, there is one tatami mats in a living room, and the rest are wood floors. Brian hate wood floor but we were talking of putting an area rug. Wood floors are cold during winter. Tomorrow Sunday, We are going to have another agent to meet but I am committed to this place. We brought Benjamin's power wheels so he can run his car going to the park. I just love the location because it is on the ground floor and there is no stairs. When we were looking to that 3 previous houses, Brian and I think right away that it is really dangerous for Mary that she gonna fell down on the stairs. That was our big concern. I just love this place anyways. It is a combination of a western and Japanese type of complex.

I was glad when Brian check our bank online, our cash advance is already there and we are going to use for the deposti, one month advance rent, agent fee and owner's fee. Oh boy! I think it will be totalled to more than 8 thou $. I am hoping that we don'thave any problem with the pay for our rent. It is hard for us this time because we still paying our 2 cars eventhough it is on consignment right now.. got to go.. CIAO

Cents for keeping in touch using calling cards at GetMeCallingCards

Keeping in touch to our family living anywhere in the world is the best thing that our family ties are always tied up. I always use calling cards to call my family in the Philippines. How do you find of getting a very cheap calling cards that we can get at GetMeCallingCards.com.

Since we will be staying here in Japan for quiete a long time. I was asking my friends back in WA to call me and that way we did not loose our contacts. Keeping in touch is a one way of keeping updates to the lives of an individual. When I was visiting to this site and I was really surprised that there is phone card company charge nothing in calling to Japan from the USA. Some charges few cents but it was not bad at all. I will let my friends know that there is cheap calling cards that we can get over the internet. There is no hidden charges, no connection fee which is really a great deal.

Dinner at Amelia Lytle's house

Amelia is my very good friend of mine, my neighbor and a second mother to my two kids, Ben and Mary. She is their Godmother. I was so glad to have a friend like her and I could not asked for more. She is always be there when I need help. She is a big help with our move to Japan.

Tonight, she invited us for a dinner in her house. She was preparing lots of food and I did not bother to bring any food because I know she cook a lot. She can feed the whole town. She invited Tessie, Tom and Zack and so with Ate Fely and her husband Greg. Mary Angel, her daughter was there too and we had a little chat about blogging. She is a great kid and I am praying for her success in life. She deserves to be praise!

Brian and I were three minutes late LOL, we got there late because we took care some paperworks for our renters. This is an overwhelming situation. The last thing that we gonna do is to clean the car and put it at the consignment auto sales here in Belfair. Tom-Tessie's hubby was interested to buy Brian's car and Amelia was talking about that her mother-in-law might be buying my car. I hope this may works well... Lord you will be the one knows how this things going on tomorrow.

Well, we had a wonderful dinner with them. Oh I forgot, Tessie's nephew was there too Randy. We were having lots of fun laughing and talking. Brian enjoyed and so do I. Benjamin were enjoying playing with Zack and to Mary Angel. Mary Angel even read a book to my Mary C. It is really cute that Mary C. sitting on Mary A's lap. Benjamin never done like that to anyone when he was on her age.

I saw Mary A that she was preparing herself to leave and asked her who will take her to the ferry terminal. Amelia's was gonna take Mary but when I look up the time it was 8pm and I think it is time for us to go. I asked Brian to take Mary A to the ferry terminal and let Amelia rest. We need to give Amelia and John a place of solitaire before they went to bed. So we need to get out LOL.

Thanks Amelia for your hospitality and your friendship. We love you!

Real Estate University

It's been awhile that I was offline because of our move to Japan. I was checking this site graduateriche.com and they are featured at Business Home Magazine. This magazine company featured one company every month and it is really cool to be featured. We can buy this magazine at Barnes and Noble, Staples, Borders, Hastings and more. Try to look at this magazine and actually I am going to go to mall today and look at this.

I was interested in real estate classes and Nouveau Riche University is a real estate investment college that offered classes for short sales, wholesaling, foreclosures, buying and holding, lease options, tax strategies and many more. I am looking into real estate business because real estate agent make good money. My husband loves to be in real estate business when he retired but then he wanted me to start before he retired. Why you not try to check the link that I provided above and find classes that fits your needs for earning extra income. It is really cool to think that at the age of 50, you are living in a savings to survive. You do not need to work so much.

Better Feeling

Its been three weeks now that I did not had any good sleep and rest. Brian and I were too tired to deal with those old stuff that needs to go.

Yesterday, we were talking of doing some stuff at home but when we got there. Melissa and Mike and their friends and family came and brought their stuff. I got upset a bit because they are on our way. I was just wanna clean windows and bring to the dumpster our old stuff that needs to throw. I never thought that they move in their stuff that day. It was Saturday and I just don't wanna... I will let them know that I am not happy that they move in on the Sabbath Day. I was looking forward to see them at church and have fellowship but they were not there. They are working on Saturday. Well, it is my fault maybe because I did not warned them not to move in on Sabbath. I wished I did tell them.

Well, since they are on our way. Melissa agreed to finish the cleaning that I started. Mike promised to gather all the stuff at the backyard and throw it in the garbage. Well, Barb- their parent said. It is okey because we rented them cheap. How could you get a 3-bedroom house with a big backyard for 600 dollars? You can't! Even renting in an apartment is about 750$ oh well.. this is a kind of helping them and they won't stay their long anyways..

Make a trip to New York and use dial a flight dot com to book your flight

I have lots of friends living in UK and wanted to visit here in the US. I will ask them to check flight to New York because they have cheap and discounted fare when you book from dialaflight.com. They have list of flight here in the USA that you can go. I just love the Orlando flights LOL. My family love to visit there and if you wanna see our travels there in Orlando just click this link.

Travelling to New York is pretty cool, we can see lots of attractions that meant to our life and you can say to yourselves. WOW! I've been there. The famous one is going up to Liberty statue. You better plan to next vacation for holidays or anytime of the year. Attractions are changing and even their decorations.

Movers came

Two guys came yesterday and they started pack our stuff for storing here in Bremerton. I asked them where they are going to store our stuff but it is in Bremerton. I just love the people came because they are so nice people. Well it is their bread and butter LOL.

Brian and I were extremely tired this few days, we were busy sorting stuff that going to storage and thrown into the garbage. I think this move is a blessing for us. We just had time to get away with this house and look for our stuff that needs to go. Why should we hang on on those stuff which we won't use it anymore. It is really cool feeling that our stuff is getting smaller... oh boy! the junks LOL.

My NikonD40X photo outcome

I just love my new camera..here is my cutie daughter photo... I love this:

Gotta excited

Hubby called before he comes home and asked if I need anything from the store. I am so excited that he will be home soon. I just don't know why but I just did. Mary was quiet upset at Ben because he put her down on the floor. She was enjoying eating cupcake but then Benjamin does not want her to have a bite from his cupcake. Sometimes Benjamin treating roughly to Mary but when I said that we will be leaving Mary in my friend's house. He won't let me. He is upset and I know that he loves his sister. And now he kept saying Mary! and grabbed her to keep her away from his toys. What a kid?

A bank that you can trust Northern Trust

I was looking a bank that serves internationally because we will be moving to Japan and stay there for three years and then come back here in WA state after my hubby contract job end. I found that Northern Trust has one branch in Tokyo area and we live pretty much 2-hours away from Tokyo.

The Northern Trust is a business and private banking which delivers a full banking services from checking, savings, mortgages, loans and line of credit, and home equity loans. You can access your account anytime of the day by logging in at their secured website. If you are away from your internet, you can use also their automated phone banking services to check your account information through telephone. You can visit them at their local office and their friendly staff will assist you for the services you are acquiring from them. There is one location I knew, it is an hour away from my house. Not bad at all.

Got sick yesterday and feel better today

I just could not imagine that I got sick. I have bad headache yesterday and I did not even got a chance to do my blogging. I have lots of things to post but then I felt rotten. I kept drinking lots of water to keep me dehydrated while Mary was not doing well also. She let me nurse her a lot yesterday.
For the last couple of days, since the moving company came and pack our stuff. Their marker has a strong smell and it trigger with my sense of smelling. My nose got irritated with the smell. I suspected that I am gonna get sick with this smell.. I never thought about it..but HEY! I got sick.

Wholesaler and retailer of CD and DVD media products at Supermedia store

I always have a DVD and CD media on hand because I love to make movies for my photo slideshow. I have thousands of photos available in my hard drive and I just could not afford to print those pictures and give to my family. I am looking with the cost of the photo prints and the DVD media and I found out that it is cheaper to make a photoslideshow. I made one movie already and having a CD duplicator software made it easy for me to make lots of copies to the movies I made.

I am looking for buying more media and Supermediastore.com offered a very low prices for blank DVDs, CDs and more. They have also blu-ray disc. Many computer burners right now burned blu-ray disc. You better check the link that I provided for more savings.

Making Movies for my travel photos

I made movies already for my travel to FL. I have thousands of photos available in my hard drive and I need to send photslideshow to my families. I do not need to print my photos. It is very expensive that way. Making movies was very cheaper then. You better check my categories I made here in my blog- shopping. If you wanna buy media.

Major move for our stuff to Japan

I was offline yesterday and today, movers came to my house yesterday and packed our stuff for Japan. Our stuff will be there on March 10th and Brian and I were not sure if we will have a place to stay that time when we will be in Japan. I just could not imagine if we will be there. I am hoping that everything will be fine.

It was really nice of Brian because he was asking his boss if we could take a leave so he can help me sorting of the stuff that needs to go. It was really tiring, we woke up 4am and then start sorting. Good thing, Mary sleep and I think she woke up about 7am.. I was a bit happy though.

My husband and I love to visit Disneyworld in Orlando and I am inviting you to look at the site that I found here in the web. The Orlando vacation rentals home are the best options for vacationers in finding a place to stay. It was really funny because everytime we will be there in Disneyworld, it seemed that I don't have time to stay in our resort and play. We were always be in the park walking and get tired.

As a way of relaxing thing, why not checking All Star Vacation Homes for a place to stay. I just love the vacation homes that they feautred on their website. I love to have pool spa and have a private pool. Amenities are really cool

Express Shipment for Japan

Two guys came over today in my house and they packed our stuff for Japan. It is an express shipment and our stuff will be there on the 19th of FEbruary. Brian and I were so busy last night, putting our stuff out for the shipment. I was extremely tired and I was hoping that Mary will be sleeping through so it is so easy for me to deal with them.

There are some stuff were they did not packed because I forgot to tell them. Brian was a bit upset at me when he got home from work that I did forgot some of the stuff. I was tired and then here he is- barking me! My tears fell on my eyes and I was really crying. I just could not imagined that hubby barked at me and I woke up early and I was dealing with Mary. Mary kept crying if I tried to leave her just a little bit. Oh boy! oh boy!

Hunger for flame grilled chicken from El Pollo Loco- wherestheflamegrill.com

There were many times that we traveled down to California and we would never skipping not to eat at El Pollo Loco. I just remembered how tasty and juicy was their chicken and we are wishing that there is here in WA. The citrus-marinated chicken is so good and yummy and I just could not figured it out how they do the recipe for their marinade. I love the yummy tasty grilling chicken at El Pollo Loco. If you are traveling down to CA and you can see their restaurant, feel to come in and order your fresh grilled chicken from the grill.

Ben was funny

Mary was playing with her Dad tapping Brian's lap and said bah..bah.. and Ben came over and said Stop fighting LOL. He is just a funny boy. If Brian and I are talking and we had a loud voice. He said to us STOP! He thought that we were fighting and we gave him abig LAUGH! That's why it is not good if we let our kids heard that we are arguing or fighting. They knew!

Affordable health insurance at usa-healthinsurance.com

It is not good if we don't have health insurance because we pay too much if we are admitted to the hospital or make an appointment to the doctor. Yes we are healthy but then there are times that we are sick because you found any health symptoms. The usa-healthinsurance.com provides an affordable health insurance in North Carolina and using their services is pretty cool. Eventhough you live in other states, you can still get a quotes from them. They offered individual or family health insurance, for small business group and many more. Bake cookies

Last Christmas I was baking cookies for our friends and I love to do that. This was my third year of baking of cookies. I found that it is really cool and I love baking right now. It grows on me. Here is the recipe that I bake it already. I love to share it to you. I will assure you that it is really good.

This was my first time that I bake cookies that we gave as gift to friends. Look at my photos

I will share the recipe for Mexican wedding cookies, did you see in the photo the crescent shape of cookies. That is mexican wedding cookies. The preparation was rated as medium.

Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, plus more for coating baked cookies
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting hands
1 cup pecans, chopped into very small pieces
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar at low speed until smooth. Beat in the vanilla. At low speed gradually add the flour. Mix in the pecans with a spatula. With floured hands, take out about 1 tablespoon of dough and shape into a crescent. Continue to dust hands with flour as you make more cookies. Place onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 40 minutes. When cool enough to handle but still warm, roll in additional confectioners' sugar. Cool on wire racks.

Brian got a recipe from food network which was emailed to him. I made this cookies for the last three years. I just love this cookies, it is yummy!

Move internationally and get a quotes at internationalmovers.com

Moving is somewhat panicking especially that you decided not to take everything you have at home. It is easier if the movers pack everything. Just like us this time, we are moving to Japan but we did not use the internationalmovers.com services because my husband's company was the one paying all the expenses. We are not the one who choose the moving company but doing an international moving is pretty overwhelming. We are going to use three companies for moving all our stuff here at home. This coming Monday they are going to pack our stuff that send in express shipping and the major packing for Japan is the next day. Right now, we are busy sorting our stuff. The stuff that go with us and the stuff that stay at the storage here in Bremerton. I am not sure where is that storage but I think it is in Bremerton.

Right here at internationalmovers.com, you can get a free quotes for all the household goods that you are going to move internationally. They even have guide for the countries that you are going to. They are going to assist you in your relocation process. If your appliance will be useful in other countries. You are going to decide what to bring or not or else you are not gonna use your appliance there. I just wished they used they same voltage all over the world. Oh well, business thing.

There is also another site that I saw the relocation.com. They are also assisting your move internationally but then they will help you with all the stuff that you needed. If you are not ready to throw your old stuff and wanted to get a storage while you are away for 2 or 3 years then they will assist you with that. Have you been wondering if you can bring your car? The carmovers.com provides you a free quotes of how much is the cost to bring your car to your new country. But then there are some countries that it is better to use their public transportation. They have plenty of guides that you can read and it is better if you understands all their services that they are serving to you.

Mary's first words

It was really funny because Brian and I does not like Dora and Mary's first word is "Bakpack". She received a gift from her birthday that Dora backpack that sing - Backpack, backpack..something that line. Mary immitated the word backpack. It ends up that that it was her first words.. Today I just finally understand her words- Dora, boots and she is pointing the slipper. It is really amazing how the kids growing and their developments. Why the calf or a baby foal stand up after they were born? Why babies are not like that? It is really amazing how God created us, how our brain developed in a span of time from talking and everything...

Brian's New Computer Toy

Brian was so impressed with the new HP elite 9040, this is a cool toy for Brian. He loves all the features that built in. If you like to know more features, go visit the hp.com and look this model. He was so happy that I told him that he can buy it. I am supposed to buy a new a laptop, I am planning to get a Macbook but then he bought me a new camera instead. I hope I can still get my laptop after my birthday. I am hoping that we can get enough money or else I will wait for our tax refund LOL...

My New Toy Nikon D40X Camera

I was asking for Brian a new camera for my birthday. He was asking me what's wrong with my sony camera and I said. It does not get good pictures, I always get blurred pictures if the kids suddenly move. There is no clarity of my shots. I never thought that he is going to buy this early. My birthday will be on 14th next month.

I was looking for good camera online last night and I heard few rumors that Nikon was really good. I just want the professional look of camera where I can get a wide angle if I am going to get a shot for scenery. I love scenery photos and I just love to collects some photos here in WA before we leave for Japan.

I checked the customers reviews and even the consumers report online. Oh boy! this camera is better than Sony.... people are giving their views. I am so sure those are professionals photographers. 4.8 out of 5 is the review which is pretty cool review.

We went to the Silverdale today, we visited Best Buy and Circuit city. Main target is computer and a camera. Brian was a bit curious because I love small electronics where I will go for a bit heavy camera. He bought it at Circuit City and I just fell in love with my cam. I know you guys love the features. I really love and will study all the features that it is on. I am planning to buy a new lenses as soon as we have enough money and extra battery.

Video of my kids

Look how cute Mary is in her video.

Christmas Day

Wow I never thought that today is Christmas day. It feels like an ordinary day where everyone celebrates or everyone had a get together with their friends and family. Bill Hotzel called this morning and reminded us to come in their house for a get together. Yes we planned to come and at noon, the snow started falling and I was so happy because we had a white christmas. Benjamin was telling me that rain is falling and I said uh uh.. it is snow! Mary was just watching in the outside and I kept pointing it to her that it is snow. At about 3pm, snow still falling and did not stop. Brian called them that we could not make it. It is so hard with the kids travelling with snow. It scared me. But then I cooked right away a steamed broccolli, cook the chicken and beef that I marinated, and then I made a fried rice. I was trying to think what else I am gonna cook. So, I put out Brian's kitchen aid mixer and I made cookies. My cookies is so good, nobody won't say it is not good LOL. We eat lunch/dinner, Benjamin as always did not eat and I was so glad Mary did ate. I just love it when they are still baby, they eat anything you give it to them. I was wishing Benjamin is just like that but he knew now to say ewwwww. It made me sad and upset sometimes. I cook the food and he never eat it.

So then... I was asking to Brian to finish cooking my cookies while I was putting Mary in her nap. This is kid is funny, she was bringing her blanket to me and said Mommmy dede and she pointed my breast LOL.. She is sleeping now..

Plan to be in Bremerton

Brian is asking me if I could come to Bremerton today, we need to submit our no fee passport. It is an official passport where we can use when we will be moving to Japan. I just want to get regular passpost but then it is impossible for me to get it. They wanted also to see the official during the application. So I better get my tourist passport when we will be there in Japan. I can get it at the US embassy there and I think it won't take so long to process. When we will be there that is the first thing that I need to do. So I can visit to Philippines without worry. I just wanted to see my family and they are so anxious to see and meet Mary and of course to Ben too..

Family Night

We just watching movies tonight with Ben, Mary and Brian. We were enjoying the movies. I never watch the movie Candleshoe. It is really cool movie. I just love Judy Foster how she did in the movie. We were so funny because it seemed that we forgot to eat dinner. We just had a late lunch and never thought of having dinner. I jsut wanna feed the kids so thats why I remember dinner LOL.
We were watching 3 movies today. The Ferris Bulleurs day off- it is really cool. There are some bad language but we tried to explain to Ben and Mary that those are words that they did not try to imitate.

Stay Motivated?

This is an article I read from sparkperople.com, it really helps to keep you motivated. Just read it below and enjoy!

9 Hidden Reasons to Stay Motivated
Ways to Rediscover Your Drive
-- By Zach Van Hart, Staff Writer

Everyone tells us to stay motivated. Our friends, our co-workers, our relatives say to keep going, don’t quit. Sometimes, though, you ask, "Why? Why try my hardest when it ends in disappointment? Why go through something when it’s going to hurt? Why?"Because it’s going to
be different this time!

Because you can’t accomplish anything that you give up on. Disappointments and failures happen to everyone. The difference between those who reach their goals and those who don’t is staying motivated. If you’re motivated, you’ll keep going. If you keep going, eventually you’ll reach your goal.Need more reasons?

Here are 10 of our ‘hidden’ reasons to stay motivated. Use one or all of them to keep the fire burning inside you.
1. ConfidenceHow did it feel after that first jog around the block? Or when you finally walked the stairs at work without losing your breath? The more you accomplish, the more you’ll believe in yourself.
2. Fit into that dressIt’s been hanging up in your closet for two years now, just waiting to be thrown on for a night on the town. All it takes is for you to go that extra mile and stay on track. Before you know it, those two years will be ancient history.
3. Make the week easierEver felt like a week was taking forever? It feels like Friday, but it’s only Tuesday? This happens when you’re not working towards anything. When you have a goal in mind, you’ll want to cook that healthy dinner or go to the gym. The week will not only go faster, but be more enjoyable.
4. Gives you purposeEvery once in a while, we need a good reason to get out of bed. Here it is, right in front of you. Eat the healthy breakfast that’s going to jump start your day, go for your morning jog, or walk to the driveway and grab the newspaper. When you’re motivated, you have a reason to do what you do.
5. For your kidsAnd your grandkids. And their kids, too. The healthier you are, the longer you’ll be around to watch your kids grow and to spoil your grandchildren. They’ll want you to be around as long as possible; consider this just another present.
6. Power of momentumIt’s a scientific fact – something in motion tends to stay in motion. Momentum builds quickly and can lead to great results. Suddenly, you’re not only working for the goal, but also to keep your streak alive. Even more reason to reach your goals.
7. The ‘wow’ effectPicture this: Walking into a bar, you run into someone from high school, and their eyes light up. They gasp, "Wow, you look great!" By sticking with your goals, this can happen. Watch the "wows" add up.
8. Spread the sparkWhen friends and family see how hard you’re working, they’ll wonder how they can reach their own goals. Guess who they’re going to look to for help? By staying motivated, you’ll not only help yourself, but others too.
9. Keep gaining experienceThe more you do, the more you will learn and understand. You’ll discover which tactics work best for you and which ones don’t. It’s like weeding out the garden - not the most enjoyable job in the world, but when you’re done, all that’s left are beautiful flowers. Keeping sticking with it and soon it will be all flowers for you.

Vitamins- Supplements safe?

I was reading an article from sparkpeople.com this morning that buying a vitamin and mineral supplements is just like going to the candy shop. I guess it is true, you can pretty much buy vitamin supplements in a grocery store or even online store. I am not used of taking vitamins but I am taking pre-natal vitamins still because I still nursing my Mary. At least she will get my extra vitamins not the vitamins that needs me to keep going in my daily routine. I read one time, it is an article. I just forgot where I read it. But if you nurse your kids and you don't have enough or low vitamins present in your body. You will be having a bone problem in the future. This is what I am afraid of, thats why I am still taking my vitamins but after this- I dunno if I still do it. The food that I am eating is enough for me to get the vitamins that I needed. Eating fresh vegetables, meat and energy food...made you healthy. I don't think that those vitamin pills is safe to take... Better check those pills....

Thanks Nita

I just had a problem using my domain name. I am so thankful to my friend Nita. She was a big help. My own domain is working now and I am so glad. I am going to add this blog to ppp for money making lol

Shopping at Walgreens

We went to the store yesterday and Benjamin bought a skateboard toy. He knew that he can buy only one toy everytime we visited to the store. It is cool right, he won't grabbed lots of toys and screamed at me to buy it LOL...pretty good training.
He lost his skateboard toy when he was sleeping, he was asking me to find it. Good thing I did. It is a power ranger skateboard LOL....

I woke up early again, I heard the sound of the water running. It was Brian who wanted to take a bath. Oh boy! It is really noisy. It is just like that it was raining so hard and it has a big downpour. Let me say! SCARY! So, I finally woke up and went to the bathroom and do my thing. Whatever you SAY! LOL.

I was trying to clean up the mess to the kids last night. I was falling asleep again and I just wanted to clean some of the mess they made yesterday afternoon. How you keep up your house clean that has 2 toddlers running around the house? This made me crazy! But anyways, no complain whatever! It is my job to look after with my two little angels. They are my life....
Brian bid goodbye for work, he looked in the outside and there is no snow. They forecast was change and I am glad with that. It is very cold in the outside and there is no rain here in house. Brian asked me to check the weather.com and it is forecasted that it is raining all day here in Bremerton - maybe not all day here in Belfair. My place is really cool. When you left at your house, there is no frost but when you drive 2 or 3 miles away. You can see the bushes that is frosted. My little community is a kind of has micro climate LOL.

Pick my boys at seatac

Brian and Ben flewn yesterday and arrived here in Seatac at around 1:45pm. I thought they arrive early so then I did not attended church. It should be I do. I just heard from Jessica that Amanda's kids are sick and not sure for Kimmy's kids. If they went there, what about they will sing songs for Jesus. Mary and I woke up early but then I still tired from my stressed Friday- during my troubled life in my interview.

I am so glad that I am not scared to drive in heavy traffic. I am quick enough now to watch whats going on on the road. We never know what is ahead, so we better watch out! I was so happy to see my boys yesterday, Brian called me while I was parking the car at the cellphone lot. I drove right away and get them home. Brian never watch the food that he is eating while they are on on the plane. He eat the food in a box that they prepared- there is sea salt. I just could not imagine that he is allergic to sea salt. I wonder if he will be going back to the Philippines, where we are using sea salt. I must be careful with this... I feel bad if he had an allergic reactions. He is always my OA bana LOL.

Countdown for Disneyworld visit on December

I am so excited to see Mickey Mouse again lol in Florida. We will be meeting a DVC members owners. We owned a piece of Disney then we are happy to see our co-owners. We love to meet them in person, we all knew them online and it is really great to established friendship with them. They are nice people I know that. Love to help each other if one of us has a problems of using our vacation points. Love to give gifts even we never met in person. During our members cruise recently, we met few of them and they love to give gifts and leave it at the door in our stateroom. The next Disney member cruise will be on Sept of next year, where it is impossible for us to join. We will be in Japan and that time, we are having fun scouting what is it at Tokyo Disneyland. We will try to visit Hongkong Disneyland too...I believe we can.....---- by using our vacation points and we are preparing our food allowance and buy plane ticket. I just did not know how much we will be spent there so we need to save money to see the world.

Ben and his friends Jasmine and Jeannie

We left in the house about 11:30am because Mary decided to take a nap. She was so fussy and I can't help of not letting her to sleep or else she will be grumpy all afternoon. I better to. When Mary woke up, she had a big smile looking at her brother and was so excited to go outside. I decided to stop by at Safeway quick because she was out of her baby food and then another stop at Lina's Store. I bought palabok. I never had palabok before because they always put pork chicharon. My mother never make like that too.. I know it is just like a noodle but I think I like it.
We got there at my friends house about 12:30pm and Benjamin was so happy to see Jasmine and Jeannie. They were limping for joy. I just could not imagine how close these kids and it is so sad not to see them when we will be moving to Japan. Clavel and I were talking of giving us update photos so they won't forget each other. Imagine when we will be back here, Ben gonna be seven or nine years old. I think they gonna be felt shyness to each other. Not so sure with those kids.
Clavel and I talk lots of things..... we did not spend lots of time because she is a working girl. She works hard and I just stay at home. We eat lots of food...where to keep us healthy LOL..oh boy! to gain weight LOL...It is ok, it is not always anyways LOL. Aileen and Hazel decided not to come, Hazel has a doc appt where she did not know ahead and Aileen- their private was dig by the power company so they can install power to the next lot. I heard they are going to build a house.

Cooking for dinner

I was so busy yesterday, we had late lunch. Mary is so messy when she is eating by herself. I just remembered that Benjamin is so clean freak. If there is food in his hands, he immediately asked me to wipe it. So he used spoon and fork when he is eating but for Mary. Oh boy! she grabbed the food and pour it on herself. I just could not imagine this little lady. The ecky thing she did is thatwhen she is drinking linquid. She loves to spit it and it runs down on her clothes and she got wet. Ben and I kept saying to her... Mary that is cold and icky.
I cook dinner so quick because Brian will be home in about half an hour. I just want him to eat early because he will be going to sleep early. He went to work 3:00am today so he had a long day. Poor bana. I sent sandwich for his lunch because he could not buy food from the galley, its closed- its weekends

Church Day

We went to the church today, my kids woke up early and I was praying that Mary won't get upset as the kids class on going. I am glad that she did not. She is a good girl and just sitting in a chair clapping her hands if we are singing.
I was really worried when the cabinet fell on Benjamin. Maybe he climb and wanted to go to the other side. They put a cabinet as barrier for the kids won't play to the Lutheran people toys. I am not sure if they put or my bretheren put it. I was scared because he looks pail and keep saying that his tummy is painful. I am glad that he feels better after I hug him a lots.. He does not want me to put him down, he kept clinging on me. God is so good, He does not want one of his child got hurt and Thank you Lord.
We had a wonderful service today, it was a testimony service which was lead by Barb Butler. She was doing good and was glad that I shared a little on our 2-week vacation in FL. I just wanna talk a lot but time was not permitted.
We went home about 12:45pm and grabbed food for lunch. I was cleaning a bit with our mess and at 3:20 I prepared the kids for going to Bremerton. Dena, our friend at church is gonna be her rebaptism. I was late though but it is ok.. at least I joined them with the singing service. I missed singing and I guess I will sing couple times before we will be moving to Japan. I missed my family at chruch, they are so nice people. We bid goodbye to everyone with lots of smiles and waves.
God is so good. We need to prepare ourselves in His second coming. We will be with Him forever where there is no sorrows and pains. This world is temporary. We will treasure the heaven that we long for.

Disappointed from USCIS

I received a notice from USCIS that my interview for citizenship will be on December 7. We will be in FL that time for another week of vacation. We went to Tukwila just to ask adjustment for my interview but the immigration officer just told us to go home and send a reason why I can't keep the appointment that they scheduled for em. Brian was disappointed and wanted to send complaint to our Congressman what the USCIS behavior. We were driving for more than an hour, burned gas and wasting our time ....and that is what their response. I just wished they will consider for those people that come to their office...and they will accomodate it.
Yes we have one main reason why we wanted to change it but then there is another reason why we wanted it early. Because we will be moving to Japan and I need to get a business passport so we are allowed to stay there for 3 years in Japan without worrying to get out in the country. Brian was told that he will be detached this mid of January.... We are waiting from the shipyard to tell us when we can get a business passports for the kids and me (waiting for the citizenship interview). Oh well......... What we gonna do?
Brian and I planned to send out letter tomorrow for requesting early interview but if ever they will give me a schedule late December then I will keep my appointment.. so then Mary and I will go home early Thursday and then attend my interview the next day. I feel that my a week vacation is not complete.

Kids woke up early today again...

Its been four days now that the kids woke up early. Brian loves it when they are awake and bid goodbye to their Daddy. Mary is so cute when she is about to cry when Brian head to the door. She does not like that Brian will be going to work. It is really cute that Benjamin will say...Daddy going to work now... He bid goodbye to Brian and give lots of kissed and hugs... that is my little man.
Well...me as mama.. always be the last.... I did not fixed his breakfast this morning because I was awake late. I sleep late last night because I was watching movie, the Hot Fuzz and Next by Nicholas Cage. It is really nice movies but the Hot Fuzz used lots of curse words.. I will not let Benjamin and Mary watch it... very cursy...

I usually eat well done since I am still breastfeeding Mary. I am thinking to wean Mary but I think it is kinda unfair from her brother which was weaned in 22 months old. I will try to think about this.. as long as she wanted me to nurse her. I still do it.
After we eat dinner, we were watching movie Mulan.. we are Disney fanatic family..so what do u expect LOL....

Day 1 of our two weeks vacation

Travel Journal

October 19, 2007 to November 3, 2007

A week before we leave for our two weeks vacation, we were starting packing our suitcases and made a list of all the stuff that we need to bring. Brian and I were talking of all the kids clothes that we are going to bring. Betty was looking with her formal dresses and it did not fit on her anymore and we went shopping at Macy's. She bought a beautiful dresses that she liked. She really gained weight while she was still nursing Mary. Brian bought also few stuff for his formal suit, a vest, new set of jewelry and a white shirt. We picked also a pair of tux for Benjamin. Mary had her clothes before she was born which Betty's sister sent it from the Philippines.
We made all of our reservation ahead of time from booking the cruise I guess that was 10 months ahead, the resorts stay at Vero Beach and Disneyworld and our rental cars and air fare. Brian planned it so well even for the places or restaurants we eat and how much we are going to spend. In every details of our vacation Brian is the author.

Day 1 - October 19, 2007

Brian's friend Curt Cady took us to the airport. He picked us up at around 9am in the house. He is a good friend of Brian and he was taking off leave that day, Friday. We got there at the airport at around 10:20AM. We bid goodbye to him and thank him for being so kind of giving us a lift.
Brian used the skycap service, we checked at curb and it was easier for us for traveling two little children. We did not in lined to the check in line. We could not checked in online due to have infant in Betty's lap. But we were pretty much early because it saved us a lots of time in checking in at the curb.

We head to the gate and passed the security with no problems. We ate at Maki Japan Oriental Eatery and then after that we headed to gate C-21. We were taking our time so easy but travelling with the kids was a bit harder. Believe me!

The plane started to board at around 1:10 PM, we were late a bit but it is okay. I am thinking that we will have a little time on our next leg of our flight. Well, Brian and I were always trying to entertain our kids. Benjamin had fun watching the movies and Mary was quiet a bit fussy. She was keeping me draining out of liquid. We arrive at Nashville, TN at around 7:20 PM. The plane again is delayed and we are so thankful with that. We were the last person who entered the plane. Since the kids were a bit fussy. We were still doing the stuff that kept them entertain. Finally we arrive at Orlando around 11:20 PM EST. We get off and then head to the claim baggage. We used a skycap services where they were helping travelers for their luggages. We got all the luggages and then head to Budget Rental Car. Brian was so thankful that the car is at the parking garage which is a walking distance from the airport. We left at the airport around 12:30AM and head to Port Canaveral. Benjamin and Mary were very tired and sleepy and we did not even had enough food to eat. Unfortunately, Brian went to the wrong turn and we ended up in a wrong road. Well, it was okay because we find a convenient store and bought some water and a little bit of food. Mary was really tired and she was screaming. I was nursing her to stop her screaming and she finally went to sleep. Benjamin was awake still but I kept telling him to sleep on our way to the hotel. We got there at Residence Inn at about 2:30AM. Brian checked in and I was waited at the car with the kids sleeping. Fortunately the guy at the front desk asked from his colleague to help us bringing our bags in our room. We have 5 suitcases... Lots! We refreshed ourselves and then went to bed with a big snooze....z z z z z z z z z

Carving the pumpkin

When we got home, Benjamin run inside the house quickly and grabbed the carving kit. I thought he did not know where I put it but I think he does. He has a high smell where I put the carving kit LOL. When I went inside, he stand at the door and asked me if I could start carving. I said to him that we need to eat dinner first but he could not wait.
He kept bugging his Dad that they are going to start carving. So then, Brian brought the pumpkin inside and clean it. While he was choosing design he gonna make it. He choose the flying bats, Benjamin is so funny. He was scared with bats. This kid has lots of imagination now. I took photos of the pumpkin...and oh we roasted the seeds. It came out really good.. yummy!

Pumpkin Patch

Benjamin was really tired and he was about to sleep in the car on our way to pumpkin patch. We tried to keep him awake. Mary was sleeping in the car as she does not have nap this morning. When we got there, Benjamin was so excited to get his own pumpkin. He saw lots of kids bringing their own pumpkin. Before I get off in the car, I put Mary's shoes on and while Brian and Benjamin went to their nursery. I was looking at the nursery if they have blueberry plant so I could plant it here in my yard. They don't have any.
Benjamin love to run around and was asking Brian to hold him. We finally boarded to the tractor lol.. we were sitting at the bail of hay..oh boy! my butt is painful...kind of hard eh. When we got there to the patch. Benjamin was running and wanted to find the best pumpkin that he can carve LOL. Brian was the one attending him because Mary wanted to walk at the muddy. Good thing not really bad muddy LOL. She loves to touch the pumpkin and I shoot few photos of them. Oh what a cute kids. Benjamin found his pumpkin and of course his Dad was carrying it. I just don't have an idea how much Brian pay for it. We end up of playing at the bail of hay, they formed it like a mazed and the kids have fun playing and climbing. They love those things.
Brian slide on the kids slide.. he wanted to LOL, he was tempted LOL... I was asking Brian if we could go home and Benjamin was still running and playing. I went ahead and I was changing Mary's diaper inside the car,she is so wet..Poor kiddie...

Family Day at PSNS-Bremerton

After we talk to Melissa and Mike, we head off to the family day at PSNS. They showed to the workers family where they work and what are they working for either by machines or labs. They have couple huge cranes, my Benjamin was enjoying it.
We were walking for about a mile to get to Brian's office but oh boy! they were asking if I am a citizen and I am not! I am not allowed to go inside to their office. they are protecting it. I don't know what they have there, it is just like a cubicles LOL..just office. Oh well, we head up to 6th floor and saw the submarine which was cut. Brian was working there for 5 weeks before and still they are not done with their work. We head off to the ship USS Stennis is at dry dock. It is really amazing, the big ship and was supported by blocks.. well it is a concrete blocks but it is really amzing that it did not fell down. I finally saw it and I am so happy..
We did not stay long because it is getting warmer while we are walking. We just stop by at the shop where Rick and Charlie works. Benjamin was enjoying playing the cranes and he ended up of having candies.. cool huh!

Found a perfect renter for our house

After church, we show Melissa and Mike our house because we are thinking that they are a nice renters. They are a family at church and their parents are our good friends. Sad to say we will be leaving them but it is an answered prayer for Melissa and Mike. Tthey are looking for a new place to stay. They saw our place, oh boy! we have tons of mess in the house but I know they ignored it but I got embarrass. I did not had an energy to clean yesterday because it was my first day of my period. I was emotional and irritable yesterday. Brian did not know that my period came LOL.
We talk about the things we wanted them to do in the house. First, they won't trash our house and I don't think they will. Barb and Tony will spank their butt LOL, they are their parents. Our yard is pretty messy, they agreed to mow the loan using our riding mower and Melissa loves roses and I am so happy with it because I am not gonna be sad leaving my roses to them. We talk a lot and it ended up the short walk through to the house became 30 minutes I guess. Second, if we have projects that we wanted them to do. They are willing to do, I am glad. The first thing is our patio, needs to replace it. I can see in their faces how happy they are looking with our house and I can trust them

Happy Soul

Today we went to church and we are enjoying teaching with the kids. We combined the little ones and kindergarten class because it is easier for us to do. Jessica and I were the leaders/teachers of the class and Brian and Mike was helping us. Jessica lead the songs and the kids have a wonderful experience today. They are responsive and my Benjamin I can feel that it seemed he was left out. I was trying that he is going to participate with the activity. He loves craft and motivation is what he needs. Brian was reading the stories about Noah... and we made a paper boat that represents Noah's ark. It is really cool. The children loves it even it is so hard for them to make. After the class, we head to the big people service and the children were behaving. They were enjoying with the stuff they do even the big people were doing the testimony service. It was Pastor appreciation day! We received greetings - Today is our wedding anniversary.

6th year wedding anniversary

Tomorrow October 13, 2007 is my wedding anniversary. Pls help us celebrating this beautiful day. We got married Saturday afternoon October 13, 2001 and our 6th year anniversary fall again in Sabbath. We will not do anything tomorrow aside from going to the shipyard. It is a family day and they invited their family to visit this high security zone at Puget Sound Naval Station. We are not allowed to bring camera or even cellphone that has camera. It is off limit. I am not gonna try to take photos anyways.. what you gonna see there is just big buildings which is ugly looking.. Will let everyone know when I can come back here again and do blogging.
Happy Anniversary to Betty and Brian.

Happy Friday

My daughter was so fussy after she is done eating lunch. I could not believe it that she does not want to take a nap while I was trying to nurse her so she can go to sleep. This baby does not want to miss anything. She finally go to sleep and while she is sleeping I do some opps at the payperpost LOL. I am hoping to make money a bit. Oppps I need to go get some milk for Ben.. he was asking me earlier while I was typing my last opps.
Got to go

I will not be blogging tonight or tomorrow. I am off because it is Sabbath and it is time for me to rest and go to church. Lord blessed this day and we will praise and exalt God this day, not only Sabbath day but throughout the week. Have a blessed weekend to everyone. We hope to see you here on Sunday. We are going to start packing for our vacations.

Sorting clothes

I was really busy sorting Mary and Ben's clothes, I need to get rid off those clothes that they outgrown and they don't need that to stay on their closet. It is getting crowded. They received few stuff for winter clothes and need to hang it there. I did not get rid off their summer clothes yet because we will be going to Bahamas 16 days from now. I know my kids will wear those because that is warm places.

I was looking into putting their clothes at the consignment store and leave it there for a month and see if I have a little money back or else I will sell it online. I need to make website for selling online. This is a great idea for making money for stay home mothers. I just don't wanna work out and let the kids stay at the daycare. I wanna see them 24 hours a day. That is my job as a mom but I am not condemning to those mothers who are working because they have reason why they work and earned money. I am so thankful with my hubby that it is ok with him that I stay at home and he did not urge to get a job.

We have sunshine today

I just imagine myself of longing to have sunshine shining in my face. When we were in VA, the sun is just too bright and shiny..oh boy! very hot. It seemed the sun bite my skin.
Since we got home from VA, I was really happy that it was not hot in the outside but then, it is starting to get cold. We are 60's during the day. Good weather but it is a little bit shock in our body. We catch colds again, Mary and Ben still have right now. Mary is starting to get better but Benjamin still congested. Oh boy! this may not help.

I was talking to my hubby when he got home from work this late afternoon that we are going to get a flu shot. He was reluctant to do it because in his opinion he kept getting colds if he got a shot. Oh boy! my pedia doctor will tell me this time that we are going to get a flu shots LOL..to keep the baby away from sickness. I think this house gave us sickness LOL...
Got upset

Benjamin had pancake for his breakfast with choco milk. He was munching raisins and few snacks before lunch. When I was done cooking lunch, I asked him to sit down and eat lunch. He resisted to get a bite. I was a bit upset but I let him go and then do his thing...
During dinner time, he does not want to eat again. I did not give him anything aside a glass of milk and a juice. He refuse to eat dinner again. I was upset when we were at the table. I kept saying Benjamin is very picky. He said ewwwwwohhh.. I hate it when he said that.

Very busy day in the house

I just dont want my friends wondered where am I... I am extremely busy here in the house. I was trying to organize my craft stuff and Brian's book. I was running errands too.. This is not so easy to have 2 kids while I do chores at home.
Today my friend Aileen came over and she brought her son Job and Jeremy is her son's friend. She was helping me making with lumpia..she helps rolling it. She is very nice lady and frank. I like her. When she got here, she was wondering why I did not start cutting the vegetables and she thought that she gonna tired cutting small slice or grated it LOL. When she saw that I took out Brian's cuisine art, the food processor. She was amazed how quick grating the carrots and even the potatoes LOL...

Trip back home from Norfolk VA

I woke up almost 2 am and had headache. I just don't know why, I was trying to drink plenty of water anyways. I was trying to go back to sleep and I was so thankful that I did eventhough I didnot take medicine.
We woke up a little bit early..not early as 6am but 7am LOL I finished packing my stuff. Gosh! I was a bit nervous about having two luggages check in. look! I am going to push the stroller and drag 2 luggages and try to chase Benjamin because he will be off without me. This thing made me crazy thinking about it. Only God knows. I woke up with a bad headache. Brian urge me to take tylenol and I did. The medicine kick off and I am glad.
I finished packing at around 10am, got a break for my breakfast and I fed Mary and Benjamin too. I asked Brian to get food for us downstairs. I just realized if my hubby is around, I am just a spoiled and kept asking lots of favor. I just need to change this attitude, I am scared if my hubby got fed up and walk away. I did not hear anything yet but he is one word man.
Brian was a bit sad not to see us for a week but a little bit happy cause he can get sleep pretty well while he is working 12 hours and he needs rest. Its been awhile he did not get a real rest, he is always working and he is hearing all my complains while we were staying at the hotel. Eventhough he is very tired, he tried to give us a drive and take us out for dinner. Or sometimes go shop. I just see in my hubby's eyes that he is tired and sometimes he is limping because of his knee problem. I am praying that both of my kids would not get this kind of problem. I just realized it that I am a mean wife - ah silent mean wife. Brian is good enough not to talk anything that made myself hurt and upset. He always my good man, my good husband and my good provider for us. He loves his family and that I am thankful.
At about 10:45, we decided to head off to the airport and grab food on our way for our lunch. I figured Benjamin will be hungry enough for lunch since he didnot eat pretty well in breakfast. I remembered that I forgot one thing, my white jacket and Benjamin's lala- this is the most important thing in his life. So Brian decided to go back and grab it. He was trying to stop at chik-fil A to buy lunch and oh boy! it has a long line of cars and even inside. He decided to head off back to the hotel and grab few stuff that I forgot.
Brian was talking to Benjamin about him not coming home with us. Benjamin was quite upset while we are still at the car. He was telling me to go back to Daddy's hotel. He knows that Daddy will not come with us. He is big enough to understand sensitive situations. I am proud with my boy! So, on our way back, we stopped by at Chik-fil A and grab for lunch. I love their chicken nuggets- it is more better than Mc Donalds LOL... Benjamin and I had chik nuggets and Brian had sandwich. Mary was munching chicken and few french fries, I know she is not hungry enough to eat a lot because I fed her before we left. She likes to have something while we eat. We were enjoying our lunch and talk few things to do while Brian and I and the kids departing.
When we get there at the airport, a guy dragging a cart asked us if we need help. I was still a bit nervous with my situation that I have lots of luggages to take care of while looking after with my 2 children. Brian was checking us at the kiosk, I always leaning to my husband to do all my checking at the machine LOL. It seemed that my urge to do it in his presence is low. My adrenalin did not go off, I need to reserve this on our trip, I am expecting 10 hours travel including stop over and riding a bus from Seattle to Gorst. This is not a fun way travelling by myself with two children.
After he checked us in, we head to gate. Benjamin spent a little with his Dad while Mary and I went off to the restroom. I changed her diaper and I do my thing. When we head out, I saw Brian and Benjamin riding in an escalator back and forth LOL. Benjamin loves to do that, his Dad was a bit sweaty chasing him. It is still warm in VA. Brian bid us goodbye, we need to head off to the gate and boarded. It took me 15 minutes to pass the security and then put my stuff back to the stroller. I need to help Benjamin wearing his shoes because he was not willing to put it on by himself.
We started our trip with a calm environment and Benjamin is calm enough to deal with. He gave lots of kisses and hugs to his Dad. He understand quite well that we are going to ride a big plane and leave Daddy. Dad will not coming with us. Nice thing, Brian bought him a NICK magazine that made him think that he has something to do. He loves nicktoon. While Mary was fine as long she can see her Mommy. I am the most important person in her life for now.. I have a supply of food when she is hungry and drink when she is thirsty LOL.. Leaving her Dad is not her thing this time but I know when she is old enough to understand. I am so sure she does not like it.
I really talk to Benjamin sincerely that he needs to help me in our trip especially looking after his sister and not running off without me. He understand quite well but what do you think, he is a four year old sometimes he forgot it. So, we head off to the gate and passed the security. It was hard for me putting all my stuff at the converyor. Especially taking out Mary from the stroller and fold it and put it on on the converyor. To make it a bit simpler, I told to Ben to stand still and I let Mary stand up and hold my leg. This is so hard isn't it. Well, I don't have any choice. So when we passed the machine thing, I kept telling to Ben to look his sister and he did. I was grabbing all our carry on bag and hang it back to the side of the stroller. I settled my two children by providing a calm environment. I helped Ben putting his shoes on and he is looking his magazine while I put the stuff in place where I wanted to. You know easy access for me. It took us 25 minutes I think to pass the security- the line was not very bad at all. At 1:20pm we head to the gate 21 and then I asked tag for my stroller. They started boarding actually and then we headed to the plane and boarded. We leave on time.
I am so thankful that Benjamin did not throw me a tantrum. I know this little guy, he loves his Daddy so much and they always have fun to do stuff. Benjamin was asking me cookie and I gave him Mary's cookie. I thought he won't eat it because it is his sister's cookies but he did. He was asking more food eventhough he just had lunch a few hours ago. I truly believe that talking to our children help them to understand the situation. One thing that Benjamin kept asking is, he wanted to go potty. I just wished I gave him laxative a night before so when he woke up in the morning so he can do his thing fast. There are times that we can't go because we are not in a familiar toilet LOL. I am just like that..always! when I am travelling. Well both of my kids are doing good on our first leg in our trip. We got there at Cincinnati airport at around 3:28pm and we will be leaving at 5pm for Seattle. I called Brian and told him that we got there safe and everything went well smoothly. We got there on time. I am so thankful that there is no delay in our trip. God is so good and I really praise it.
So then, we got off on the plane and look our gate first before we grab some food to eat. Benjamin was so funny, he saw a play area and he wanted to play. I know he wanted to play but we have a long walk for gate B21. He does not want to get on on the train, he wanted to go back. I told him right away that he needs to help me. It is a good thing he did not take off and run. He is good in finding stuff LOL. When we get off at the elevator, he was asking me popcorn. I told him we can buy popcorn as long as we can find a shop that sells and we did found it and I bought a caramel popcorn and I gave him a dollar for being so good to Mommy. He loves popcorn so I asked him not to eat it yet because we will eat food. I am a bit hungry LOL. We had spaghetti and pizza. Benjamin just eat a little and I feed Mary- ahh a jar food from Gerber and gave her few noodles. She loves noodles. Benjamin was kind of done eating, he is a good boy. He just sit there but he was playing my soda and he spilled it. His clothes was wet and wanted me to change him. I was upset a bit but it is fine. It is not a big deal I brought extra clothes for him.
We head off to the restroom but I throw my food to the trash can. I was not kind of done eating but filling up more of my tummy I guess it is not a good thing. I change him and then we head to the gate. Having two children to take care - time fly so fast. We head off to the gate B21 at around 4:20pm and as usual I asked a new tag for my stroller. The staff were so busy starting boarded the old folks or person that ride on a wheelchair. The lady could not help me right away, she was busy boarding few old folks in a wheelchair. While we were standing there next to the their desk. Benjamin was pressing something on their computer and after few minutes the printer run. I told to Benjamin that there is something wrong why the printer run. The printer stop running and there is one guy came and went to the desk. He look at the printer and thought that he is going to say something but instead he grabbed the paper out from the printer and started to look and tearing information that he needed to. I was relieved that he needs those information LOL. So, the lady staff was asking the guy to help us and she was so kind enough to tell me and say sorry for not helping me right away. I understand her, I see it that she is extremely busy. We boarded finally and after 20 minutes the captain told us that we are ready for taking off. I think we left on time.
While we were waiting for the plane to take off. Benjamin wanted to go potty again and I let him. I am afraid if he can poop on his pants where he doesnt have any spare. He is going to wear Mary pants LOL. I was wishing that we did not sit next to an old woman. I know it is hard for her to stand up if we wanted to go to the restroom. I think Benjamin went 5 or 6 times. I know there is something that he wanted to unload it where he could not do it.
Well, Benjamin was sitting pretty well in his seat. He buckles his belt and he was aware that the buckle lights on. He was asking me to watch movie at the portable DVD player and he understand that he is not allowed to while we are taking off. I just told him if the flight attendant announce that it is ok. I will take it out and I was glad that it is ok for him. He just sit there and I offered him if he wanted to eat popcorn and of course the answer is yes! He really loves popcorn. He was entertaining quiet awhile and then when the flight attendant said that it is ok to take out the dvd player. I took it out and let Mary and Ben watch movie. They were watching so good. Mary was sitting at Ben's lap and Ben was hugging her. They are so cute and so sweet sibling. It does not bother to Ben that Mary is always there on his way. He understand now that he is going to share stuff to his sister. He mostly push Mary away but I always told him not to.
I was really sad when I saw that plushy message "low battery". I was wishing they have cigarette lighter where I can recharge the battery. This is the downside on our trip because what I am gonna do- there is two more hours to go. When the battery was dead, I offered Benjamin the blue clues activity book. It helps a lot and Mary was doodling. She loves to doodles and of course she put it in her mouth sometimes LOL.

Choose: frozen or fresh vegetables and fruits

I was really surprised the facts that I heard from discovery channel...oh boy! I like to eat fresh vegetables and fruits... but read this article:
The technology to freeze certain foods provides the shopper with more food choices. Out of season produce can be available throughout the year. Producers also are able to transport and store foods without them spoiling. Food scientists can measure the nutrient content of different foods. Foods are analyzed for various minerals, vitamins and fiber. Studies that have compared frozen produce to fresh produce show that in most cases the frozen fruits and vegetables retain their nutrients. A quick-freeze technique is used to freeze produce. This process preserves the food's nutrients. When fresh fruits and vegetables are exposed to light and air, the vitamins in the food break down over time. Fresh produce that has been sitting on the shelf long past its harvest date may actually be lower in nutrients than food that is frozen immediately after picking. The highest levels of nutrients can be found in fresh fruit and vegetables that are in season. Otherwise, frozen varieties are a good choice. Using frozen produce is a great way to get a wide variety of important fruits and vegetables into a balanced diet.
Are you gonna argue with that???? There are some elements happened while your fresh spinach stay in your vegetable bin- exposed to light and the vitamins breakdown....Better off I will buy frozen veges and fruits by now..I will not get worried of spoiling while they are my freezer. I love this idea... and it made my family healthy

Kitty Hawk at NC

Brian and I were talking of going to Nags Head NC, I just don't know what is in there and he does not have an idea too. He knew that there is Wright brothers park there that we could visit. I heard those 2 brothers that are inventor but did not know that it is there in NC. He heard few of his officemates that there is nice beaches there too just like Virginia Beach oceanfront. We never have an idea what we can see there...
When we hit the memorial park for the Wright brothers, Brian asked me if I wanted to check their park and I said right away "YES". We paid $4 admission for adults and 15 y.o under are free. So Ben and Mary are free. For me, I was really enjoying with the facts I learned. I was there where they made the first flight back in 1903. I mean I visited it LOL. They have museum, they showed the first engine they made and some other stuff. They have also lecture at the auditorium, where we did not attended it. Benjamin wanted to check all the stuff they have there. We end up of buying a bird thing that fly and of course postcards, I am collecting postcards. I took lots of photos in it, some facts I did not read it properly and I can read it in a photos LOL... it is big enough to read it.
When
The place was so nice, it was sand dunes before but the arm forces put some native grasses in there. It grows pretty good anyways. They kind of preserve the house or the garage that they build the first plane.. oh boy! it was really incredible. They have 4 attempts in flying the plane that they made.. I really thanks for their invention because we can not ride an airplane today. The key is how to get to point A to point B. It is really amazing those genius brothers.
My husband really love history and I learned to love more. My son was watching history, it was narrated by

A month away

I could not believe it, hubby and I got married for almost 6 years. I am so excited with it..you know why? because we almost surpass the 7 years.. one more year and we will be 7 years. It is really cool.
We are going to have a cruise for our 6 years wedding anniversary. We are going to celebrate it with the kids. Benjamin gonna have fun with the little oceaneers and Mary will be at nursery while us, we are going to spent some time as a couple. Its been awhile that we never spent together as a couple, we are always occupied with kids. I know that is not healthy for the marriage but we are trying to accomodate the need of our children.

Brian had a phone job interview for Japan

I was so excited that Brian had a schedule for an interview for Japan. I was praying that he can get that job so we can visit Japan. If ever he will be accepted on the job, we are going to stay there for about 3 or 4 years. He had his interview yesterday, he was having problems with his cellphone because there was no good connections so he ran back to the building and call the interviewee back. He was tired and caught his breath. He said he weighed his interview 50/50 but I am still hoping that he can get it. We will see what will be the result ..maybe in a week or two..or maybe more...

Hubby surprise us

At about 10:20, the housekeeper knock the door and asked if wee need service and I said can you pls come back after an hour or 2 because Mary just fall asleep in about 5 minutes. The housekeeper leave and then there is another knock on the door, I thought it was another housekeeper. I am a little bit mad- I feel the tingling on my ear LOL and when I opened the door, it was Brian.
Brian got home for 2 reasons, he wanted to see us in between of his work hours and the second is, he wanted to join us at lunch. We were talking where we will be going and he remembered that I was craving with breadsticks from olive garden. He asked if I wanted to have lunch at olive garden and I said "NO". I told him that I was thinking the breadstick at Fazoli's well, it is a little bit cheaper there LOL. So, we went there and have lunch. I was not impressed with the breadsticks, it feels salty and it is not fresh. Well, I was thinking that I am not feeling well and my taste buds are not feeling well eatiher LOL. I did not even ate the whole thing of my order, the cheese ravioli with meat sauce. Oh boy! I was really bad LOL... so Brian asked for a lid to my plate and take it home with the breadstick. I thought I am going to eat at around 2pm, I figured I will be hungry that time but I did not.
When we are done eating lunch, we hurried back to the hotel. Brian drop us off and he went up to our room because he wanted to change his shirt, he got dirty from the sauce. He hurried back to the car and drive for work. We were talking of bringing Benjamin to Chuck E cheese's this evening so he can play there, he loves chuck e cheeses LOL..not the food but those fun stuff there.

Ilahee Park Bremerton

July 10 2007
Today we went to Ilahee park, never thought what is in there. We went to the sside ofthe beach= ahh side of the wall LOL. we sat. talk and eat some snakcs. Kids were doing well, they run and play in the sand. I was looking at Mary, she was really fascinated with the sound of the waves and wanted to touch the water. She was watching the kids playing in the sand that they were digging, she could not help it not to touch the sand, she crawled at the side of the blanket and started digging the sand. I was looking with her cute little hands squeezing and digging- it is really cute when did that. I was really amzed how her reactions. .
